Serve

"But whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister. And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant" (Matthew 20:26b-27). As Christians, we ought to be serving each other plus those that come across our path in life. This is exactly what Jesus Christ did during His earthly ministry. "Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many" (v28). Christ gave His life for us as the Ultimate Sacrifce to pay for our sins and provide salvation for all. The least we can do as God's children is to be a "living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service" (Romans 12:1).
